Welcome to the Anson Art League website
We welcome you to meet the talented artists of Anson County, North Carolina. Media include oils, watercolors, acrylics, alcohol inks, pastel, pencil, pottery, woodcarvings, stained glass, quilting, knitting, embroidery, photography, jewelry, wood turning, copper enamel, folk art and more. We're also featuring our literary artist members. Our local writers' club hosts an annual writers' conference.

Where is Anson County?
Anson County is a rural county in the Charlotte NC region about an hour from the big city, but worlds away, where the pace is slow and people are super friendly. Artists in Anson County create a variety of artwork similar to what you'd find anywhere yet some will be unique to our region and history. For instance, North Carolina pottery ... which has an extensive and rich history in this state.
